Technically, I'm on vacation this week, but — just for you — I'm taking a vacation from my vacation to write a quick blog post. Since I'm on vacation, though, I'm not going to spend that much time on this post. So, without further ado, here are our 10 most read posts of 2010: Where did you find your megaphone? (May 6) — Our first post in a series from PhD candidate Janine Giordano about her experiences with one foot in the evangelical church and one foot in the academy. Bonus: her 2nd post in the … [Read more...] about Our 10 Most-Read Posts of 2010

InterVarsity’s Alec Hill on CLS v. Martinez
InterVarsity president Alec Hill – who formerly taught law at Seattle Pacific University – has written an opinion column on Christianity Today's website that offers some wisdom and insight on the CLS v. Martinez case (and I'm not just saying that because he's my boss). Like many other commentators, Alec wonders about the viability of an "all comers" policy: It is difficult to imagine a large university like Ohio State adopting an "all-comers" policy. Wright: We Do Need History, Craig Keener: Jesus … [Read more...] about Week in Review: Jesus, Law, and N. T. Wright Edition
Christians and Conflict in the Academy
I'm going to try to link two current stories involving Christianity and the academy, and I'll be the first to admit that the attempt might not work. A big disclaimer: I am not an expert on either of these, so I'm going to provide some links at the bottom of the post. Today, the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in the case CLS v. Martinez, in which a university and a Christian student organization disagree about who —legally speaking —has the right to belong to a student organization as a public university. Last … [Read more...] about Christians and Conflict in the Academy
