We would like to thank a generous anonymous donor for funding the design of the booklet, and the Grace & Mercy Foundation for funding the initial printing as part of the GFM Book Group Project.

Are you looking for a booklet to help readers flourish as both Christians and grad students/faculty members? We’re truly delighted to announce that a Scholar’s Compass booklet is now available! With a semester of short weekly reflections for Christian academics, it makes a great gift or discussion group starting point.

Scholar’s Compass is a guide, a wayfinder that distills years of experience from Christian academics into short reflections to help connect faith and academic life.  InterVarsity’s Emerging Scholars Network has published over 150 short online reflections offering wisdom from the daily life of Christians in the university. This booklet offers a semester of weekly readings from that collection on: connecting faith and your field, thriving in difficulty, and finding daily flourishing. Beautifully crafted by noted liturgical artist Ned Bustard.  Great for reading groups or gifts!

We’re also working on a redesign to make all the Scholar’s Compass online entries easier to find and use in ministry. We’re proud of all our writers and thankful for their contributions, and we’re working to make it easier to access this collection and find what you need. In the meantime, browse all the Scholar’s Compass archives here.

We’ll be sharing more soon on ways to use the Scholar’s Compass booklet, how you can share ideas with us as we work to design further publications, and perhaps some upcoming events too.
