O Lord, you have brought us through the spring term to the summer break. This is our chance to recover from stressful course work, teaching, and engaging with students, faculty, and staff involved in the tasks of the semester or quarter.
As we start July, would you pray with us at ESN?
This spring semester, ESN is delighted to introduce a new series, “Why I Appreciate Christian Scholars.” In this series, we’ll hear from believers in many vocations and walks of life who want to share an encouraging word on why they value the work of Christians in academic vocations. We launch the series today with a reflection and prayer by Gary Anderson, a Gordon-Conwell seminary student and Park Street Church pastoral intern with a background in business.
Ah, May—the time of long spring walks, balmy breezes, and final papers/grades/classes/committee meetings/all of the above.
