Opening (Fall 2016): Psy.D. program, Full-time, tenure track faculty position (Wheaton College, IL)
Wheaton College (IL) is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure track faculty position, rank open, in our APA-approved Psy.D. program for Fall 2016. As a diverse community of faculty and students who share a faith-based commitment to professional practice as service, especially to those marginalized in our society, we strongly encourage applications from groups underrepresented in higher education, including women and ethnic and racial minorities. Areas of specialization are open, however, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: child/adolescent assessment within a developmental psychopathology framework or geropsychology. In addition to teaching, duties include seminar-based oversight of clinical training and dissertation research supervision. Successful candidates are expected to pursue a high-quality program of research and to mentor students in these ongoing efforts. A doctoral degree in clinical psychology or an allied field is required. Licensure or license-eligible in the state of Illinois is also required. College teaching experience and an ongoing track record of scholarship are both highly desirable.
