The Emerging Scholars Network and the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) will pilot joint student programming and activities at the ASA Annual Meeting, July 22-25 at Azusa Pacific University (near Los Angeles in Southern California). Last spring ASA and ESN worked out a closer collaboration to serve students and young professionals. At this year’s ASA Annual Meeting we will feature our first joint conference session for undergrads and grad students, as well as more informal opportunities to connect with members of ESN and ASA. Come for the whole experience of the ASA conference, and connect with pilot programming for students as well. Hope to see a number of you there! AND yes, please help spread the word among friends not only in the sciences, but also those with interest in the science-faith conversation 🙂
Stay tuned. More details coming, including financial assistance . . .
The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
