ESN Scholar’s Compass Match (GoFundMe)
Next week, ESN heads out to the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) conference, and you can help send Scholar’s Compass booklets along. For July only, we’ve received a matching gift opportunity to raise $2500 towards sharing teaser booklets with five Scholar’s Compass posts and great graphic design.
The ASA conference is a perfect moment to share these booklets. In light of our recently announced collaboration with ASA to support emerging scientists, we expect great turnout at the ESN reception and booth. The teaser booklet features a post by W. Brian Lane, an ESN writer who will be part of an ongoing conversation with early career ASA members after the conference, and by Dave Vosburg, a 2014 ASA Fellow. Sharing teaser booklets is a great way to engage ASA members and provide them with convenient links back to the blog.
Also in the works: A post-ASA Google hangout for emerging scientists (ASA members or not), featuring Scholar’s Compass author Kelly Seaton and ESN Science Corner writer Andy Walsh. Will you help us share Scholar’s Compass and links back to the blog through the teaser booklet?

The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
