Would you like to enjoy Chicago deep dish pizza while you hear from someone who has introduced millions of students to fundamental science concepts? Have you ever wished you could take a field trip to Fermilab, home of major discoveries about quarks? Do you want to meet hundreds of people who share your excitement about scientific inquiry and faith in Christ? You can do all three at the upcoming American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) faith/science conference July 19-22, and great scholarships are available for students, postdocs, and recent graduates (within 3 years of receiving your latest degree). ESN will be cosponsoring the student/early career track on Saturday of the conference, which will feature:
-An early career lunch to help you connect with colleagues at a similar career stage
-Panel discussions and speed mentoring designed to help you flourish as an early career scientist
-An InterVarsity reception
ASA works very hard to make this conference affordable for students, offering free conference registration and generous scholarships for travel and lodging/meals. Note: As of June 19, all travel scholarships have been claimed. However, you are still welcome to fill out the application to be placed on a waiting list in case slots open up. You are also still welcome to apply for 50% off lodging and meals through ASA, and the conference registration is always free to student members. See below for more detail:

About the author:
The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a "call for papers", an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
