Apply for the Christian Scholars’ Grant: Deadline March 15, 2018

classroom photoAt ESN, we work to provide members with opportunities that will help them live out the Kingdom of God in their academic vocations. A very important membership benefit is the junior faculty grant offered to an ESN member every year by the Christian Scholars Foundation (CSF). CSF generously partners with ESN to support a junior faculty member with funds that can be used for research or other projects exploring Christian scholarship.

Mark your calendars for March 15, 2018: that’s the deadline for the annual Christian Scholars Foundation Grant application, given exclusively to an ESN member who is early career faculty (grantees must be in the US or Canada). Usually one grant is awarded, but in 2017, we’re delighted to share that the Christian Scholars Foundation was able to give equal grants of $7500 to two different faculty members. Watch the blog for interviews with both awardees.

In the meantime, to learn more about the grant and start your application, click here. To read an interview with the 2016 awardee, click here. For additional testimonials from grant awardees click here.

Only ESN members will be considered for the CSF grant. Not yet a member of ESN? Join for free here. We’d love to welcome you!

ESN Announce

The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a "call for papers", an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
