Give to ESN and double your gift! Generous donors have offered a matching grant of $6000 for ESN. We’re at $2100 in giving toward our match goal, more than a third of the way there. We’d love to meet this goal by the end of 2016.
A note from ESN editor Hannah Eagleson:
ESN is proud to share the work of nearly 120 different writers. There’s a deep need in the world today for thoughtful Christian academics who are willing to share the knowledge they’ve worked for with the church and others around them. At ESN, we’re thrilled to be one place where Christian academics find a public voice and the support to speak to a wider audience.
To mention just a few of the new authors ESN has welcomed this year, recent PhD Joshua Wu generously used his talents in data analysis and political science to help Christians understand each other through thoughtful insights into statistics, and he’s now using his theological and political science knowledge to encourage the church as we approach the new year. Experienced InterVarsity staffers Kathy Cooper and Nancy Thomas shared campus-ready Bible studies on Daniel and Scholar’s Compass Advent devotionals. And new graduate student Kateri Collins offered insights to others in the graduate school search from her experience finding a graduate school, inhabiting transitional time well, and finding mentors.
As ESN’s editor, I’m so grateful for the investment all of our writers are making in ESN. I also know how much time goes into finding talented writers and supporting them to use their writing gifts to the fullest. If you’ve given already, we are so grateful for your partnership. We could not share the work of these talented writers without you. If you’ve been thinking about giving to ESN but haven’t yet, would you consider investing in our authors today?
Will you help us raise the remaining $3900 we’re seeking by year’s end? You can invest in our writers here.

The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
