Friendly Competition: Can ESN Find the Most New ASA Members?

October 17, 2015 by ESN Announce Leave a Comment

track race photoWe know ESN members like  a little friendly competition, so here’s a contest for the rest of October:  share free student memberships to the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA). ASA’s October student membership drive is underway, and they’d love to give out free memberships and free books to new student members (grad or undergrad) who could use the support of more experienced Christians in science. Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up (if a student) or invite students to sign up  for a free ASA membership and a free book  at the  ASA website.
  2. Name ESN as the way you found out about ASA when you sign up, or invite others to do so.

ASA will be recruiting through a number of other sources. Let’s see if ESN can help give away the most memberships and books! There are at least 97  new memberships already, so we’ll have our work cut out for us. 🙂 Curious how your school is stacking up? Check out this chart.

ESN Announce

The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank you.
