Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press: 2015-2016 Academic Year Edition offers classics, practical resources, and new releases by InterVarsity Press (IVP) which can serve as a blessing to Emerging Scholars (and others) as they engage InterVarsity‘s Graduate & Faculty Ministries:

  • Four Commitments
    • Spiritual Formation
    • Community
    • Evangelism & Service
    • Integration of Faith, Learning & Practice

Thank-you to all who have been part of the conversation not only to keep Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press on the cutting edge, but also in contributing title/theme suggestions and book reviews. I’m particularly excited not only to highlight Christ Around the World and Cultural Analysis during an Urbana Student Missions Conference year, but also to give attention to several of the authors who will be speaking at Urbana15 (December 27-31, St. Louis, Missouri).

  • Christena Cleveland (associate professor of the practice of reconciliation at Duke Divinity School and author of Disunity in Christ: Uncovering the Hidden Forces that Keep Us Apart) is a plenary speaker.
  • Greg Jao (InterVarsity Vice President, Director of Campus Engagement and author of Your Mind’s Mission) will offer a seminar on Developing Your Mind for God’s Global Mission as part of a cluster of InterVarsity Graduate & Faculty Ministries seminars.
  • Rick Mattson (Coordinator of InterVarsity’s Midwest cluster and author of Faith is Like Skydiving: And Other Images for Dialogue with Seekers and Skeptics) will lead a seminar on Loving Your Atheist Neighbor as part of a cluster of InterVarsity Graduate & Faculty Ministries seminars.

InterVarsity Press (IVP) discount for Emerging Scholars!

As you not only personally check out Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press, but also consider what books your witnessing community reads, explores, promotes, and passes along this fall, please don’t forget about the IVP discount for Emerging Scholars!

What a privilege to co-labor with IVP in seeing Students and faculty transformed. Campuses renewed. World changers developed. A special thank-you to Deborah L. Gonzalez (Sales & Marketing Manager, Campus Liaison) and others at IVP for enabling us to keep Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press up-to-date and relevant to Emerging Scholars. To God be the glory!

About Us

The Emerging Scholars Network (ESN) is a national network within InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries which supports those on the academic pathway as they work out how their academic vocation serves God and others. We encourage and equip undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and early career faculty as they navigate each stage of their academic vocation and transition to the next step in or beyond the academy.
