Campus Resources from IVP ’14

2014 IVP Campus Resources for GFM

“Live” . . .

Over the weekend I posted Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press: 2014-2015 Academic Year Edition in the media section of the Emerging Scholars Network (ESN)’s website and now it’s on the blog too 🙂

With a tweaking of the format, we’ve tried as much as possible to weave the new releases into the rich selection offered last year. As I’ve shared before, this resource stems from a desire to place in your hands a glimpse of the classics, the excellent practical material, and the new releases InterVarsity Press (IVP) provides as we seek to

  • grow in InterVarsity‘s Graduate & Faculty Ministry‘s Four Commitments
    • Spiritual Formation
    • Community
    • Evangelism & Service
    • Integration of Faith, Learning & Practice
  • bless InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministry’s focused ministries — explore the back side of the resource sheet 🙂

“Living” . . .

2014 IVP Campus Resources for GFM p2Thank-you to all who have been part of the conversation not only to keep Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press on the cutting edge, but also offer your own resource suggestions (and reviews). As I shared in Engaging Students in the Subject of Truth, I’m not only working on a recommended resource post from Mary Poplin, but also there are a number of ESN resource pages (for a list visit Engaging Students in the Subject of Truth) which I’d love to have your assistance in updating.

In addition to a continual review of the titles offered by Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press (to be prepared for the annual fall update), I’m once again exploring the creation of focused postcard size pieces for disciplines, topics, and relevant new releases. If you’re interested in this project, please let me know. Note: I’m particularly excited about partnering in the development of campus, conferencing, and/or special event resources.

InterVarsity Press (IVP) discount for Emerging Scholars!

As you not only personally check out Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press, but also consider what books your witnessing community reads, explores, promotes, and passes along this fall, please don’t forget about the InterVarsity Press (IVP) discount for Emerging Scholars!

What a privilege to co-labor with InterVarsity Press with the shared passion and vision to see Students and faculty transformed. Campuses renewed. World changers developed. Once again, a special thank-you to Deborah L. Gonzalez (Sales & Marketing Manager, Campus Liaison) and others at IVP for enabling us to offer Campus Resources from InterVarsity Press: 2014-2015 Academic Year Edition. To God be the glory!

The Emerging Scholars Network (ESN) is a national network within InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries which supports those on the academic pathway as they work out how their academic vocation serves God and others.
