The Baptism of the Lord (Scholar’s Compass)

January 7, 2018 by Micheal Hickerson Leave a Comment

Today, we're delighted to welcome guest writer and previous ESN Associate Director Micheal Hickerson. Micheal did a great deal to grow ESN. Although he's moved on to different career commitments, we're always delighted to share his thoughts with Christian scholars. In this Scholar's Compass post, he reflects on the Baptism of the Lord. The Bible Project — A daily engagement with the word of God

August 18, 2017 by Tom Grosh IV Leave a Comment

In January, I began a daily engagement of the Word/Story of God through The Bible Project. I have found The Bible Project a rich online resource to prayerfully consider and apply "How to Read the Bible" in a number of contexts. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLH0Szn1yYNedn4FbBMMtOlGN-BPLQ54IH Drawing from the outline on Bridgetown Church's (Portland, OR) website, ESN has provided daily reflections via  ESN Facebook and ESN Twitter. … [Read more...] about The Bible Project — A daily engagement with the word of God
