ESN loves to provide opportunities for members. A very important membership benefit is the junior faculty grant offered to an ESN member every year by the Christian Scholars Foundation (CSF). CSF generously partners with ESN to support a junior faculty member with funds that can be used for research or other projects exploring Christian scholarship. Stay tuned for an interview with Jennifer Hawk, 2018 CSF awardee (pictured).
Mark your calendars for March 15, 2019: that’s the deadline for the annual Christian Scholars Foundation Grant application, given exclusively to an ESN member who is early career faculty (grantees must be in the US or Canada).
The Christian Scholars Foundation offers one grant of $7500 this year to a member of the Emerging Scholars Network at the junior faculty level (join ESN here for free). The grant is open to emerging scholars in a wide range of fields who are working at Christian or secular colleges and universities.
Read more about the grant and start your application process by email here.
The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
