The Department of Chemistry at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2017-2018 academic year. Teaching duties include Physical Chemistry, general education chemistry, and either General Chemistry Laboratory or Organic Chemistry Laboratory, depending, in part, on the background of the successful candidate. A master’s degree in chemistry or closely related field is required with a doctoral degree strongly preferred. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is required.
