ESN Focus Groups – Sign Up and Share Your Ideas!

May 29, 2025 by Jamie Noyd Leave a Comment

The Emerging Scholars Network wants to hear and learn from you!  As we seek to live out the vision of developing scholars following Jesus together, we want to know what this looks like in today’s environment – both for scholars seeking an academic position and those looking to work outside the academy.  How can ESN best support the ongoing formation of scholars as followers of Jesus and as thriving scholars, whether that’s online or on campus?

Here’s how you can help.

  • Pray for fruitful conversations and wisdom as we discern how to structure ESN to best serve scholars in the coming years.

  • Sign up to participate in an online focus group. Each conversation will last one hour and have space for five participants. All participants will receive an IVP book of their choice. Register here.
    • June 25 – Early Stage Graduate Students: 1pm
    • June 26 – Late Stage Graduate Students: 1pm
    • July 1 – Post Docs: 1pm
    • July 8 – Early Career Faculty: 1pm
    • July 9 – Non-faculty Track Scholars: 1pm

  • If you’d like to share your ideas, but the focus group dates and times don’t work in your schedule, you are welcome to complete this short survey.
