hosted by Christian Women in Science, Emerging Scholars Network, and Women in the Academy and Professions
Historically, the STEM fields have not been a friendly place for women. Though much progress has been made, many graduate programs, departments, labs, and disciplines continue to be fraught with challenges and the last eighteen months have added layers of complexity and difficulty. More than ever, women need to connect with, learn from, and advocate for one another.
Join us for a virtual event as we hear from women from a variety of institutions and programs as they share with us their experiences and advice for thriving as women called by God into science. Following a moderated panel discussion, there will be opportunity for Q & A with the panelists and breakout discussion groups.
Saturday, October 2
11:00 am – 12:30 pm (EDT)
Hosted on Zoom
About the author:
The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a "call for papers", an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
