Thanks so much for participating in the American Scientific Affiliation’s Fall Student Membership Drive! ASA welcomed 325 new student members (from 68 campuses). That’s 75 more than the 250 free memberships ASA made it a goal to give away. ESN members and friends contributed to that number, and ASA has welcomed 45 new graduate student members as part of that group.
ASA and ESN continue to brainstorm ways to partner in supporting students in undergrad or grad school – stay tuned for more on upcoming conference opportunities, including perhaps a few at Urbana!
For those of you who like numbers, you can see how many new ASA members your institution has here. And if you’re sad you missed the free book, ASA would still love to give you a free Student Basic membership here.
The Emerging Scholars Network is always seeking opportunities to identify, encourage, and equip the next generation of Christian scholars to be a redeeming influence in the academy, church, and the world. As you have an announcement, a “call for papers”, an event, a prayer request (e.g., campus, field, higher ed), a resource suggestion, a review, etc., which is in concord with our Kingdom of God endeavor, please send materials (marketing/sales material not accepted) for consideration to post via email or the ESN Writer Survey. Thank-you. To God be the glory!
