Saint Scholastica

Saint Scholastica (c. 480 – 542) was the twin sister of Benedict of Nursia and the founder of the women’s branch of Benedictine Monasticism. Once a year she would visit with her brother near his abbey in order to worship and discuss spiritual concerns.
